Counseling/Teaching Experience:
After graduating from UT Austin, Lucy spent a year teaching 10th Grade ELA, which taught her the importance of crafting different teaching methods to meet the varied needs of each and every student. She also gained experience in standardized test prep, and enjoyed helping students develop effective testing strategies. She started tutoring in high school, beginning as a peer essay editor. During her time at UT, she edited a literary magazine. In her spare time, she enjoys writing short fiction and participating in writing workshops. Whether in her personal or professional life, she loves to help others find the best way to put their stories into words.

Interesting Fact:
Lucy loves tea, science fiction, and traveling. She has a pet hognose snake named Oatmeal.
