Education:

The University of Texas at Austin (Mechanical Engineering, B.S.)

Teaching Experience:

David has worked as a self-employed tutor for the past 8 years while he completed his high school and undergraduate degrees. He has also volunteered at multiple summer camps and after school programs. There is no greater joy he receives than when he sees a concept “click” within his student’s mind, and he believes his teaching is defined by his patience, compassion, and ability to craft stories and analogies which aid in comprehension of difficult subjects.

Educational Philosophy:

My high school physics teacher would repeat a mantra to his class daily, “How do we eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” I want my students to know that no matter how daunting a task may seem, any problem can be tackled with a “one bite at a time” mindset. When you have this mentality, you build confidence and view any task as achievable, and then the world opens up to you.

Interesting Fact:

David frequently participates in stand-up comedy open mic nights at local clubs around Austin, much to the amusement of his friends.
