Education:
The University of Texas at Austin (Computer Engineering, B.S.)
The University of Texas at Austin (Advertising, B.S.)
Teaching Experience:
Kai worked with students across a wide range of math and English topics—from SAT prep to essay writing to algebraic reasoning. As a tutor since 2019, Kai helped students improve their confidence and academic performance by focusing on how they learn best. Kai believes in explaining not just the “how,” but the “why,” so students build a deeper understanding of the material.
Whether leading SAT classes or working one-on-one, Kai aims to make complex concepts simple and relatable.
Educational Philosophy:
"Every student learns differently, and that’s a good thing. It's my job to adapt the lesson to their way of thinking, not the other way around. I focus on helping students feel confident in their own ability to problem-solve, whether it’s interpreting literature or solving systems of equations."
Interesting Fact:
Outside of the classroom, Kai has been playing music for over ten years and running my own Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Kai is passionate about storytelling—whether it’s in a game or teaching a classroom.
