University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A. in Communication Studies and Gender Studies; minor in English Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Literacy)

Counseling Experience:

Aiden worked as a Writing Coach at UNC Chapel Hill's Writing and Learning Center, supporting undergraduate and graduate students in writing essays, planning productivity schedules for class work, preparing job application materials, and more. Before college, they had experience editing essays for friends and tutoring classmates in various subjects.

Counseling Philosophy:

"I think it is crucial to generate energy and engagement in an educational setting. Showing a student that I am genuinely excited to be working with them means that they can feel more welcome to be open regarding their goals and what they need to be successful and feel supported."

Interesting Fact:

Aiden was heavily involved in band ensembles in high school and can play the marimba, a large keyboard percussion instrument. They competed at the World Championships in Dayton, Ohio twice as a member of their school's winter percussion ensemble.
