TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

Throughout high school, Alexander was an Algebra tutor through the Math Honor Society at his school. He also provided a tutoring service for upperclassmen enrolled in the district Medical Assistant programs where he would lead group discussions and study. Alexander also had taken time to tutor RISD orchestral students while in High School.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY:

“I believe education revolves around critically thinking and engaging with problems to better understand them and their solutions. Working through problems at a pace comfortable for individual students has shown, from experience, to be the most effective way to learn. As an instructor, I hope to foster a space for patient and individualistic learning to better aid my students."
