Teaching Experience:

Years of tutoring and counseling experience in Colorado lend David the insight and candor to
make him a highly effective teacher. A well-versed college admissions essay editor and
specialist, he has helped students develop and craft work to land them in Ivy League and other
highly desired institutions, from undergrads to students seeking their M.B.A’s and M.D.’s.
Together, they cultivate personality on the page to stand out and develop terrific essays. He has written course curriculum for the ACT and AP ELA courses and workshops creative writing for
himself and others to maintain a distinct eye for writing and teaching.

Educational Philosophy:

"My goal is providing students and families the resources and insights of professional tutoring and
experience to boldly and confidently move towards the next stage of their life. It’s a huge
responsibility and joy for me to be a part of that. A cornerstone of my pedagogy is the belief that
the right tools and attention can make a student’s work not only a process of skill-building and
developing strong habits but also one of imagination and discovery.”

 

Interesting Fact:

David’s lived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for a summer, backpacked through South
America, but is most at home in the Catskills, reading a book in front of a fireplace and drinking a
cup of coffee.
