Education:
University of Texas at Austin (B.S. in Petroleum Engineering)
Teaching Experience:
Jingyun has been a volunteer math tutor for elementary school students for two years in high school. She has also been a physics learning assistant for college age students for a semester. Since 2020, she has also mentored freshman college students as part of the UT Peer Assistance Leader program.
Educational Philosophy:
"I want to make sure each student understands the concepts of each question they are trying to solve. I think that is more important than just explaining how to get the correct answer. I had many inspiring and patient teachers in the past who worked with me using this philosophy and I want to share their teaching style with others."
Interesting Fact:
Jingyun has a 30 pound cat named Cocoa whose favorite food is chicken wings.
