Education:

University of Texas at Dallas (Mathematics, B.S.)

Teaching Experience:

Since high school Sam has often found himself acting as a tutor to many fellow students requesting help with high level math. Now, Sam acts as one of the leaders of his university’s math club. In the club Sam assists students with homework problems from advanced courses, such as calculus. He has helped introduce many of them to high level mathematical concepts. He has helped a wide range of students with a wide range of skill sets over his time assisting fellow students!

Teaching Philosophy:

"A teacher should help guide students in finding their interests rather than only serve to relay information. Students learn best not only when they try to fully understand the topic of interest but also when they find enjoyment in that topic. People interested in the subjects they study are more likely to develop new ideas and use creativity in solving problems for those subjects. Students will benefit more from pursuing their passions than from simply knowing facts they are required to learn."

Interesting Fact:

Sam was born in Paris, France but only lived there for around one year.
