Education:

UCLA (B.S Biology - In Progress)

Teaching Experience:

Samuel has worked as a private tutor for 3 years. The subjects he has taught over the 3 years include college level Chemistry, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, SAT Math, and ACT Math. He has taught middle school students to college students, so he has had a lot of experience working with a wide range of ages.

Teaching Philosophy:

"As someone who's struggled academically I understand that certain concepts are just hard to get. The best way to tackle those difficult concepts is to break them up into simpler ideas that are easier to understand. Once understood we should be able to teach those ideas to others because teaching affirms us of our mastery at the concept."

Interesting Fact:

Samuel is currently the Vice President for Global Medical Missions Alliance, a club at his university. They go out to Mexico twice a year and open a day clinic to see patients who are unable to afford health care. It's his favorite event to go to because he gets to work with a variety of doctors and try delicious Mexican food.
